Motor Launches EV Navigator in New York and New Jersey
Partnering with dealers to simplify EV adoption
[New York, New York, 19 September, 2024] – Today, Motor launched EV Navigator, a 24/7 concierge service that eases the EV ownership journey in New York and New Jersey. By partnering with auto dealerships, EV Navigator provides customers with the confidence they need to make the switch to an electric vehicle.
As part of the launch in New York and New Jersey, Motor is collaborating with Orange and Rockland Utilities and Con Edison to engage local auto dealerships in helping EV buyers enroll in programs that help them earn cash incentives and save on charging. In New York, SmartCharge New York allows customers to earn cash incentives for off-peak charging. In New Jersey, Charger Ready makes it more affordable to install a Level 2 charger at home. Through this collaboration, Motor will work with customers at the dealership to promote the programs and ensure customers take the necessary steps to sign up and realize their benefits.

EV Navigator is currently available through select dealership partners in Indianapolis, throughout Vermont, and now New York and New Jersey, EV Navigator is a personalized ownership support service set to revolutionize the EV ownership experience. A recent study by Cox Automotive indicates that 45% of consumers in the market for a vehicle within the next 12 months are considering an EV purchase.
