A faster charger, sometimes referred to as an L2 Charger, is an electric car charger that uses the same type of plug as your clothes dryer.
Charging times are up to 10x faster with a faster charger relative to a standard home wall charger. Faster chargers add to the convenience of electric car ownership and increase the value of your home.
When you sign up for a 3-month subscription, we’ll install a faster charger in your garage, covering up to $1,000 of installation costs and the cost of the charger.

After you sign up for the faster charger – we will follow up with a quick survey to better understand your unique installation.
A faster charger requires a 240v outlet in your garage and space on your electrical panel to support a new 50 amp circuit breaker if there is not an existing outlet. We will provide members with a short survey to better understand unique installation requirements prior to sending anyone to your home. Installs typically take less than a day, and require minimal access inside your home (this will depend on the location of your electrical panel). You do not pay the 3-month subscription fee up front; it is billed monthly and automatically transfers to a renewing 30-day subscription when this 3-month period ends. If you do cancel your 3-month subscription prior to the end of the 3 month period, you will still be required to pay for the remainder of this 3 month period.
The install includes one (1) 50-amp 2 pole circuit breaker, 30 feet of cable, one (1) NEMA-1450 Receptacle, covering up to $1,000 of installation costs [the “install”], along with the charger itself [the “charger”]. Any overages related to unforeseen circumstances or additional materials will be charged to the member. We will provide a final quote and request your signoff prior to beginning any work.
To get the free faster charger install, a member must sign up for a 3-month subscription and remain a member for 360 days. If a member cancels their subscription prior to the end of this 360 day period, they will given the option to purchase the faster charger or return the charger for free.
